Well done Bagshot!!

hall1A great evening was had by all in Bagshot on Halloween!

Well done to all the businesses who opened their doors to the Trick and Treaters! It was amazing to see all the wonderful  costumes of the children and the adults!! Most places ran out of treats by 5pm, so next year I think they will be doubling their buckets!

We are already planning next year’s Halloween event – it will be a Saturday and so much easier to prepare for,  so…………… watch this space!!

Thank you to everyone who came and supported the event. If you have any photos you would like to share, please upload them to the Bagshot Village Facebook page !!!  hall2 hall3 hall4 hall5 hall7

On the Eve of Halloween …. it begins ……..

…… and so it begins …… Halloween Eve ….. when Bagshot starts to develop an orange glow – dark shadows and spooky goings on!

Tomorrow from 4.30 – 5.30pm the businesses in the village centre will open their doors to bats and cats, ghouls and ghosts, vampires and Draculas, witches and wizards, pumpkins, mummies and skeletons ….. and will be asked those immoral words ‘Trick or Treat!!!

All adults must be accompanied by at least one child.

Are you brave enough to enter Bagshot?

Children don’t forget your ‘thank yous’ and make sure your adult does not eat too many sweeties!

And while you are wandering around …. see how many owls you can spot!!

Have fun and stay safe!! trick

Halloween Half Term Owl Hunt

It only seems a few weeks ago that the bunnies and the chickens

hid themselves around Bagshot for Easter

 – well now the owls have decided it’s their turn!!

Bagshot Halloween Owl Hunt 2014!!!!

During the October half term week – 48 owls will be in the windows of shops and businesses in Bagshot Village Centre. Can you help to find them all? At the moment they are preparing for flight, as there are still a couple of checks to be carried out but hopefully they will all be out and about by Monday tea time. Entry forms are available from ALBOE and Howlands in the High Street or you can write 1 – 48 on a piece of paper and write the names of the owls next to the numbers. You can then hand it back into ALBOE (with a £1 entry fee please), which goes towards the prizes and printing costs. Any surplus donations will go to Harper Asprey Wildlife Rescue. Make sure your name, email address and contact number are on your form before you hand it back. Closing day in 4pm Friday 7th November and winners will be announced at about 4pm on Saturday 8th November at the end of the ALBOE Re Opening day.  The new Harper Asprey Wildlife Rescue fundraising  corner will also be unveiled that day!!

Look out for more details in Facebook, or send an email to events@bagshotvillage.com
