An important message from the Bagshot Fairy … Fairy Nuff!

An Early Christmas Message from Fairy Nuff!

Another year has flown by and we are already starting to think about the Christmas celebrations in Bagshot.

My task every year is to decorate the fence around the big Christmas tree in Bagshot Square. I ask everyone to help me by writing Christmas messages on a special piece of card, which I then laminate carefully, so that your message will not get wet and soggy! This takes a little bit of time and so I have to get started early! Please can I have your cards ready by Friday 21st November, so that all your messages will be hanging on the fence ready for everyone to read on

Bagshot Christmas Light Up on Saturday 6th December.

On your card, you may want to ask for a special wish for yourself or other people or a special pressie from Father Christmas himself, maybe write down a special Christmas memory or even draw a Christmas picture. These cards are looked at by lots of people in the village and hopefully Father Christmas takes a peek as well, when no one is looking!

Extra cards are available from ALBOE which is open every day except Sundays and Mondays and Bagshot Village Community Library. I will be getting my friend Tina Carney, to take the cards to all the local schools, pre-schools, nurseries and senior citizen centres in the village, so hopefully no one is left out! She will also have some in her pocket!!

I do not have a mobile phone myself, but Tina says you can phone her if you have a question. Her number is 07890 864 074 or you can send her a whizzy email to events@bagshotvillage.com

Wishing you a wonderful Christmas and a peaceful New Year

Well done Bagshot!!

hall1A great evening was had by all in Bagshot on Halloween!

Well done to all the businesses who opened their doors to the Trick and Treaters! It was amazing to see all the wonderful  costumes of the children and the adults!! Most places ran out of treats by 5pm, so next year I think they will be doubling their buckets!

We are already planning next year’s Halloween event – it will be a Saturday and so much easier to prepare for,  so…………… watch this space!!

Thank you to everyone who came and supported the event. If you have any photos you would like to share, please upload them to the Bagshot Village Facebook page !!!  hall2 hall3 hall4 hall5 hall7

On the Eve of Halloween …. it begins ……..

…… and so it begins …… Halloween Eve ….. when Bagshot starts to develop an orange glow – dark shadows and spooky goings on!

Tomorrow from 4.30 – 5.30pm the businesses in the village centre will open their doors to bats and cats, ghouls and ghosts, vampires and Draculas, witches and wizards, pumpkins, mummies and skeletons ….. and will be asked those immoral words ‘Trick or Treat!!!

All adults must be accompanied by at least one child.

Are you brave enough to enter Bagshot?

Children don’t forget your ‘thank yous’ and make sure your adult does not eat too many sweeties!

And while you are wandering around …. see how many owls you can spot!!

Have fun and stay safe!! trick
