Churchill invites local people to join Summer Party

People in Bagshot are invited to join Churchill Retirement Living for its Summer Party events at local developments this July.

Visitors will be treated to a live music performance in the developments’ attractive communal grounds, a glass of Pimm’s and traditional ice cream. There will also be the opportunity to meet new Churchill apartment Owners and hear about the new lifestyle they’re enjoying. The events will follow up-to-date Government guidance around meeting outdoors, with all necessary safety and hygiene measures in place.

The Bagshot event will take place at Wessex Lodge from 2pm to 4pm on Friday 16th July.

Numbers are limited so please call 0800 458 1857 if you would like to book a place, or to find out more about Churchill’s programme of social events taking place throughout the summer.

Churchill’s Regional Marketing Manager Anne Scherrer said: “Now that we can enjoy the freedom to socialise outdoors again, our Summer Parties are the perfect opportunity for local people to come and experience first-hand the fun and sociable lifestyle that comes with a brand new Churchill apartment. We’ll have a host of treats and great entertainment on offer, as well as the chance to chat to our Owners and meet our friendly sales team. Measures are all in place to maintain our excellent track record of keeping everyone safe and healthy, so visitors are welcome to come and see for themselves the wonderful community atmosphere we have at our developments.”

Churchill Lodges are a stylish collection of one and two bedroom privately-owned retirement apartments for those who want to enjoy an active, independent lifestyle. Each apartment has been designed exclusively for those in their retirement years and has a number of safety and security features, such as a 24 hour emergency call line and a video entry system, for complete peace of mind.

Churchill developments have proven to be very safe places to live throughout the pandemic thanks to the excellent work of their Lodge Managers and the secure, self-contained nature of this type of accommodation. This has meant the rate of Covid-19 infections among Churchill Owners has remained less than a third of that seen across the wider UK population, and safety and wellbeing continues to be a priority.

For those who don’t feel ready to attend an event, private one to one appointments are available, or you can even book a virtual appointment via video call. For further information, please call 0800 458 1857 or visit churchillretirement.co.uk

Hypnotherapy – New complementary therapist in Bagshot

When new businesses or organisations come to Bagshot we offer them a chance to introduce themselves.

“Andrew Major has joined the team at the Integral Life Centre in central Bagshot, offering Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, helping clients address mental and emotional struggles as well as physical ones. Andrew has helped many people reduce anxiety, lift their mood, improve sleep, overcome fears, find motivation for weight management, gain confidence and much more.

Andrew practices Solution Focused Hypnotherapy which is a modern and effective technique, based on the latest research from neuroscience. Combining psychotherapy and clinical hypnotherapy, it doesn’t involve analysing past problems or their cause but focuses the preferred future. A collaborative process which supports clients in taking small steps forwards whilst developing a more positive outlook on life and reducing anxiety. Hypnosis consolidates sessions helping the mind relax and focus on thoughts and suggestions that are useful for therapeutic change at a subconscious level. A very pleasant and relaxing experience.

Andrew has a passion for helping people and understands how hard it can be to make changes without support. He uses his knowledge about the human mind to pass on skills to others, helping them take control and gradually feel better.

Having trained with the prestigious Clifton practice, Andrew was also awarded the prestigious Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD), considered to be the ‘gold standard’ hypnotherapy qualification. He continues to update his skills regularly and is committed to the highest standards.

Andrew is looking forward to welcoming new clients to his practice at the Integral Life Centre in Bagshot and appointments are available in the daytime or evenings.
