  • The Square in Bagshot
  • The Half Moon – Windlesham
  • Outside the Co-op – Lightwater
  • Billiant Bikes – Chobham

There’s no need to book, simply turn up on the day.  Please note that you will need your own bike – check the full T’s and C’s.

If your bike needs a tune-up before the ride, both Spokes in Bagshot and Brilliant Bikes of Chobham will be open before 10am to check your brakes and tune your gears.

Bagshot Christmas Market 5th Dec

Bagshot Christmas Market is being held this Saturday from 12 noon until 4.30/5 o’clock, when there will be carols being sung around the Christmas Tree in the Square and the tree lights will be turned on.

Father Christmas will be making an appearance in A.L.B.O.E. (at the top of the High Street) from 2 – 4 pm, stalls with lots of ideas for presents, music and something for the children to do.

Mulled Cider, mince pies, German Sausages, burgers, food and snacks will be available either in the market or in the various food outlets

The BBA is having a tombola stall as usual, supporting the charity ‘Bagshot Care’ on this occasion and would welcome donations of prizes from you in support of this local charity. All proceeds will go to the charity.  Donations can be dropped off at Howlands Estate Agents in the High Street.  We are also having another stall which will be holding a raffle, the proceeds of this going to the BBA for future events.  Again, any donations will be greatly appreciated for the raffle and can be dropped off at The Three Mariners.

Outstanding Ofsted Award is a Hat Trick for Village Pre-Schools Limited

Outstanding_Colour_EYLittle Grove Pre-School in Bagshot, Surrey and Little Villagers Pre-School in Windlesham, Surrey, owned and managed by Karen Henderson-Williams, were both awarded Outstanding by Ofsted for the third time running this summer. Since the opening of Little Grove in 2000 and Little Villagers in 2006 both schools have been inspected by Ofsted three times and graded Outstanding on each occasion, with the latest inspections this summer being awarded Outstanding in all areas.

The 2015 Ofsted report for Little Grove includes the following quote from the Inspector “Leaders have an amazing capacity to praise children for tiny achievements in their personal, social and emotional growth.”

The 2015 Ofsted report for Little Villagers notes that “Staff are good humoured and quick to celebrate the joys of life. They create a nurturing, happy environment where children flourish.” Karen commented that she was thrilled by the accolades and recognition for both schools and added her appreciation for all the efforts of her staff, without whom this could not have been achieved.

089To celebrate the fantastic news, Karen held a tea party at each school for the children, parents and staff. Entertainment was provided by local entertainer Cookie the Clown and with lots of fun and giggles, both events were a wonderful celebration.

Both Pre-Schools are privately owned, offering children aged 2-5years a rich and stimulating environment, which supports their learning and development, both indoors and outdoors. This provides a positive framework to ensure the children develop in a happy and safe environment.

“We invite you to come and view our Outstanding Pre-Schools. We currently have spaces available in both schools.

Call 01276 473434 for Little Grove or 01276 473845 for Little Villagers to book a visit. Visit our websites http://www.littlegrove.co.uk / http://www.littlevillagers.co.uk and you can even find us on Facebook. We look forward to hearing from you!”
