Traffic problems – update

Given this is such a hot topic, we’re posting this note from our County Councillor Mike Goodman here on the website particularly for people who don’t use Facebook.

Dear All
Thank you for your recent emails on the signalling issue on the A30.  I share your frustration and have asked the Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport to look into what has gone wrong.

I have been informed that the sequencing of the lights reverted to their former settings yesterday, and SCC’s signal contractor’s technical support engineer will be on site this morning to review the junction configuration and supporting database.  Our engineers will then attend the site this afternoon.

I will update you once I have heard more.

Thanks again for your emails, and I apologise for the inconvenience this is causing.

Regards
Mike Goodman
Cabinet Member for Environment and Planning
County Councillor for Bagshot, Windlesham & Chobham

Samaritan’s Purse Christmas Child Shoe Box Appeal.

samSamaritan’s Purse Christmas Child Shoe Box Appeal.
Once again I am doing it again with my Church, St. Anne’s.
I do have the new “Go” Boxes at 50p each, which are ready to fill. I also have the appropriate forms.  The boxes are flat packed and easy
to assemble. If anyone wants to make up their own boxes with the original shoe boxes and cover them themselves that would be great also.
The date they have to be at the Church is 15th November. I can collect if need be or they can be brought straight to the Church Office which is open Mon-Fri 10-12midday. My mobile no is 0750 302 6081.
For other information regarding what to put in, see …..
Many thanks
Eve
