Organ & Voice Recital, Saturday 17th June

Arun Silva is a first year undergraduate studying Music at the University of Kent. He is a classically trained organist and singer performing with the University of Kent choir (Medway) and externally. He trained in piano, organ and voice at Charterhouse School, Godalming performing with three choirs during his time there. He has toured with the choirs and performed at several events in the UK and abroad. For more about Arun visit his website.

The recital programme will cover classical repertoire and some other favourites including an arrangement of the Game of Thrones theme and songs from musicals. . This is an open recital – all are welcome.

The recital supports the Eikon Charity. Eikon supports the wellbeing, resilience and aspirations of young people in Surrey Heath and across Surrey. Eikon’s work ranges from open youth clubs, to intensive support for some of the most vulnerable young people in our schools, families, and local neighbourhoods. Eikon is one of Surrey’s leading charities in young people’s mental health.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Parking is available outside the church along the road. Please do not obscure any entrances. The church is about a 20 min walk from the Bagshot train station (Southwest Trains) via the A30.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

No all are welcome!

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No – we ask people to register in order to keep track of attendee numbers.
